Can the owner cancel a reservation?

Yes. The owner may cancel the reservation up to 5 days before arrival by notifying the guest, at no additional cost. If the owner cancels without giving at least 5 days' notice, the owner must pay the guest monetary compensation equal to one night's stay, based on the booking price at the property. The owner may also cancel the reservation if the guest does not respond to their communications.
